#The way her expression changes as Peter speaks destroys me. It's like some insane landslide of emotional devastation. She moves from adorably happy to confused, to terrified, to utterly broken, to embarrassed, to a cover smile to suppress it all in the space of a minute. As she conjures this story to justify it for Peter, contrasting herself with the other Olivia as someone with a full-life, everything inside me just dies. #I confess that although I am not really a Peter/Olivia shipper, I do have a twisted obsession with Peter/AltLivia. All their scenes in Entrada seethed with a toxic combination of attraction and revulsion. They hate what they've done to each other, but can't help being drawn in, even though they both know their entire relationship is built on a web of deceit. It's so dark and creepy and brilliant. #my favourite moments of fringe season 3

#In the context of the screaming and struggling you see before, and the near horror show that comes after, this was probably my most fraught 15 minutes of Fringe viewing EVER. I always love scenes between Olivia and Broyles. I just get the impression that Anna and Lance really love acting together. She's so vulnerable and desperate, and he's so confused and torn. #THESE THREE AND THEIR GOOFY FACES! I've never looked forward to Fringe as much as I did the odd numbered episodes of early Season 3, because I knew I'd have these three being adorable and everything would be beautiful. I can't believe how spoilt we are for awesome character dynamics on this show. It's like, crazy bananas. This was also the episode I decided I was WAY more than just amused by Lincoln Lee and his EYES and his adorkable high-school crush on Olivia. #I hate it when shows about under-cover agents brush over the trauma the protagonist must quietly endure when the mission requires they use sex or close emotional bonds to complete a mission. They are effectively selling themselves and their sense of self worth. It's deeply unsettling, which is why I LOVE that Fringe was brave enough to go there. I think a lot of haters would say AltLivia's decision to take that final step marked her as intrinsically evil. To me, it was a self-sacrificing and self-destructive act. Part of AltLivia died that day and I think her enduring emotional attachment to Peter is tied up in the messed-up need to reclaim it and transform it into something meaningful. It was just so upsetting to watch her make the decision to betray herself and go through with it. I guess a lot of fans read it differently, but to me she was as much a victim of this deception as Peter. My heart broke for her in this moment. #my favourite moments of fringe season 3

#Up to this point I'd enjoyed AltLivia's perky strut and wry smile, like an exciting new flavour of the Olivia I knew. But when she methodically loaded her gun and calmly shot an innocent deaf guy point blank in the back of the head, the dull ache of regret and bitter acceptance in her eyes, I was kind of shocked and terrified. Who was this person? Whoever she was, she was way more than an alternate version of our Olivia. Yes, our Olivia probably would have found a way to avoid murder to complete her mission, but surprise: THIS IS NOT OUR OLIVIA. NO ONE IS SAFE. A chilling start to the season-long roller-coaster ride of AltLivia badassary. #my favourite moments of fringe season 3

#The Peter/Walter dynamic is so deliciously fragile and contorted. Any semblance of a normal father/son relationship lost in webs of deception, distance and misunderstanding. It was beautiful to see them together on an equal footing, everything out in the open, honestly declaring their feelings for the first time. Peter's: You stole me from my family and I'm not ready to forgive you. Walter's: I know it was wrong, but I'd do it again. It was awkward and painful and perfect. #my favourite moments of fringe season 3
